Learn America STEM Foundation is a NY State Approved not-for-profit organization dedicated to the promotion of online resources to help schools and faculty through the use of LA’s STEM courseware.

The Foundation promotes online CTLE courses free for teachers in NY State through a collaboration with the Rockland and Westchester Teacher Training Institutes.  The Foundation is offering no-cost Mathematics and Science online resources to schools.

Our unique methodology:

  • STEP 1

    Pre-Assessment

Students take a pre-assessment exam to identify individual strengths and weaknesses.

  • STEP 2

    Personalized Curriculum

Based on the pre-assessment, a personalized curriculum path is determined and mapped out for the individual.

  • STEP 3

Adaptive Assessments & Periodic Formative Updates

Through formative assessments and analysis along the way our instructors monitor progress and offer guidance

  • STEP 4

    Interactive Moderated Online Forum

Faculty and teaching assistant moderate online forums / course discussions, to help support student learning.

  • Step 5

Progress Report & Intense Interactive Review Dialogs

Progress reports highlight and direct students to any remaining areas needing focus during the last few weeks of the program.

  • STEP 6

Ready Review – One Week Prior to Exam

A final assessment outlines level of exam readiness.
