Learn America, Inc., is an organization dedicated to bringing STEM learning resources to high school students to pave pathways into STEM careers.  Learn America, in collaboration with the India Center of Westchester, Inc. is announcing an initiative to bring academic support for high school students in Mathematics.

What is being offered?

9 weekend classes offered at the ICWI on Sundays.

6 x 90 minute review and support sessions.

3 x 2 hour exam readiness preparatory sessions.

Who will teach?

The lessons will be offered through a blended (hybrid) system.  Learn America’s online portal will be made available to students for self-learning and taking practice assignments.

On-site teaching/support and problem-solving sessions will be conducted based on the student’s performance, strengths and weaknesses. Classes will be conducted by Ms. Carol Desoe, retired Chair of Scarsdale High School Mathematics Department and/or Ms. Susan Tennant, retired Scarsdale High School Mathematics teacher.

Who is it for?

High school students from Grade 9-12.  May be suited for Middle school (8th grade) students with advanced standing.

Level of Math Support?

Regents Level, Honors and AP-levels


$200 per student per term

($200 for Fall/Winter and $200 for Winter/Spring)
